Oil is a hot topics these days, and There Will be Blood take a look at the industry in its infancy. You might see some things online that reference the film as a battle between faith and ambition, and that's probably fair. The performances, especially Daniel Day Lewis, are very good. There are practically no female characters in the film, which is more than likely appropriate to the circumstances of the narrative. We recommend this film; Daniel Day Lewis' performance is worth more than one viewing.
