Do we have any education in film reviewing? Nope, we just love movies.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
MyTriState Review: 2 out of 5
We weren't expecting Shakespeare, but jeez.
National Treasure: Book of Secrets is the movie you see because the movie you wanted to see was sold out. The dialogue had this obvious quality about it (like Nicholas Cage's wig); the characters didn't run outside and shout, "It's dark out now because it's night time!" but they might as well have. The bottom line is that the stunts weren't that thrilling, the mystery wasn't that intriguing, the plot was scotch taped together and the dialogue - save us, the dialogue! Worst jokes ever. If you just want to veg out and watch a movie that doesn't matter, then go see this movie. And be prepared: assuming the grosses were high enough on this film, we're going to get another installment of this series so we can find out what's on page 43. Indiana Jones this is not.
