MyTriState Review: 4 out of 5
We found Juno to be a comedy that rang true, for the most part. It was interesting to see a lead role in a comedy where sex was up front in center go to a young woman, but when the story centers around a pregnant teen, there isn't really any other way to go. The indie art and music references strain credibility and Juno's parents were really cool about the entire ordeal while the father's parents seemed to have little or no interest in the goings ons. We've never heard so many teenage colloquialisms in one place before, so this film is probably not for everybody, although there was a welcomed lack of text messaging in the film. We recommend this comedy, as long as you're not especially conservative.
